Product review: Max Factor FaceFinity foundation

Oh my giddy aunt, I think I have found it guys. I think I have found the one.

foundation

I have spoken before about my on-going quest to find a foundation that doesn’t clog my crater-like pores or melt away with my freakishly oily skin.

I mean seriously. I had already resigned myself to the fact that there just wasn’t a single product out there that would give me the finish I am after.

Then when on a hen-do in Liverpool my friend told me about Max factor’s FaceFinity All Day Flawless, and my despondent disposition was lifted. So off I went to invest £12.99 into a bottle-full of this new hope.

FaceFinity All Day Flawless is a 3 in 1 foundation that promises to hold like a primer and correct like a concealer with the long lasting finish of a liquid foundation with the added benefit of SPF 20.

The foundation primes the skin with a “flexi-hold technology” (whatever that means) that creates a strong yet lightweight film on the skin which delivers an all-day coverage, absorbs oil and delivers a matte finish.

I’ll admit, I was sceptical because I’ve heard it all before.

But. Spoiler alert: I wasn’t disappointed.

FaceFinity blends on my skin really effortlessly regardless of whether I’m applying it with a beauty blender, a brush or just my fingertips. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, with zero shine in sight.

But the best thing about it? It doesn’t melt of by the time for elevenses.

Usually I have to blot my t-zone with powder or blotting paper by the time for a second cup of coffee at the office. Not so now. Even without my trusty old setting spray the foundation stays put and delivers a beautiful coverage that doesn’t need a touch-up until gone late afternoon, if even then.

It’s still early days, but I think this bad boy might just be it. The one. My one true love. And for £12.99 a pop you can’t argue with the price either.

Have you tried this foundation before? What did you think? Hit me up in the comments.

  • I use this and so happy with the result. This foundation stays long, cover the flaw on face, and smooth the surfave of skin. Love it!

I used to buy Max Factor’s foundation , but then I switched to Givenchy because I find the consistency better. However, since I like this brand, I might give it a try again 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  • Sounds like you have found a good foundation, I also have the foundation melting problem it is so annoying isn’t it? I have found using a primer has helped it’s staying power though. 🙂

  • That sounds like a really good foundation, especially considering the price 🙂

That sounds like a wonderful foundation! I have to give it a go 🙂
