I’m all Christmassy already and I’m not even sorry

Look, I know it’s only November and I know Christmas is still over a month away but damnit, I don’t care. Christmas lasts for only a few days so I intend to throw everything and the kitchen sink at it and extend my enjoyment of the season. I intend to be completely unapologetical about it.

Which is why I had no problem popping over to the Notting Hoole Christmas market and lights switch-on on the Sunday just gone. I kinda love all those Christmas-style trinkets and a brass band playing carols and a stage where some local talent struts their stuff, and I kinda love Hoole. I mean, I did live there for what is closer to a decade so I’ll always have a soft spot for the place.

I’ve been showing my face at almost every single street market in Hoole and I’m not totally convinced there was as many stalls and vendors about as there normally is but I’m not convinced it’s necessarily a negative against the event itself. If you were on the market for some Crimbo pressies you could definitely find some here. If you were hungry, getting fed was as easy as choosing one of the pop-up food stalls. And if you were out for a few drinks Hoole has never had a shortage of watering holes. So yeah, you could just get on with it really.

And I totally did.

So yeah, I feel decisively Cristmassy now and you should too. 34 days and counting guys.

On on the one hand it feels kind of weird to have Christmas up already. On the other hand, I think it’s nice to get into the holiday season at this point. Love all the different things of Christmas. Even switched over to Christmas music.

  • Christmas is almost here, so why not? We should be in Christmas mood earlier, everyone wants to. Gorgeous pictures dear!

These are such beautiful items. Do you make any gifts? I thought all of these were so gorgeous I would be at that market a lot too 🙂

Ugh! I dread Christmas time. Something I haven’t been able to shake for years. But I do love some of these crafts!

I feel the same way too! I can’t stop looking at stuff online to buy as Christmas gifts! Is that bad? I also have been listening to Christmas music as well
