I’m wild about animal prints now

OK I used to absolutely hate animal print but it’s slowly become such an iconic thing every retailer does their own version of it and I think it just wore me down. Now I’m all in and loving it and I’m taking y’all with me and share six of my favourite animal prints of the season.

Check these out:

Red zebra print wrap dress – River Island, £42

How sassy does this dress look? It’s got that little flare at the hem which makes it swoosh around when you walk and the whole wrap style is just so flattering, even to us bigger girls. Also, I love red, so get in my wardrobe already.

Brown leopard print ruched sleeve blazer – River Island, £60

Who doesn’t love a good blazer? They’re like the multi-taskers of the coat community, they can look super professional or cool and loose, depending on how and with what you wear it with. I’d wear this with skinny jeans and a t-shirt and it would slay.

Wide Fit Tan Leopard Print Stiletto Slouch Boots – New Look, £34.99

Stop everything you’re doing and check out these stilettos! Aren’t they fierce? I’m like, in love, I cannot tell a lie! I’d wear these with either skinny jeans or black leggings and a boxy top. Maybe a matching bag. Is there one? I gotta go and check…

Black Zebra Print Midi Shirt Dress – New Look, £24.99

This dress is cute as a button. It’s got a pretty wild pattern but somehow it manages to be sweet and adorable at the same time. I’d pair this with heeled sandals or stilettos to lift the look or, with trainers if I was on holiday and on my way out to adventure for a day.

Pull-on trousers – H&M, £17.99

OK here we go, comfort and coolness in one go. Check out these pull-on, ankle-length trousers in a patterned viscose weave with an elasticated waist (comfortable AF!) and side pockets (and they’re not fake pockets! Hallelujah!) in a loose fit with tapered legs. Love, love, love!

Romantic Frill Sleeve Dress – Simply Be, £22

All the sass in one dress. Not only is it cut to a figure-flattering swing shape it’s also got these cool little wings on the sleeves and it’s just so adorable I can’t stand it. I’d wear this with my knee-high boots for the statement look I hear it’s all about this season.

  • The blazer is my fave! Even though it’s a bold print, I think animal prints can definitely work as a neutral because of the colors involved — thus they look good on everyone, right? 😉

  • Jasmin N

I love when other people wear animal prints but they sure aren’t for me haha. Such lovely picks you have here!

I love the red too and I love those booties. I like animal print on furniture too, like an accent chair or ottoman.
